I must have practiced T'ai Chi for a year when I began to feel my body
begining to undergo more profound changes. My knee injury healed completely.
My lungs felt stronger, I began to sleep better and wake up earlier.
Soon I was functioning on six hours sleep instead of eight. My respiratory
and digestive system recorded a marked improvement. As a result, the
texture of my skin changed. It became cleaner, firmer and tighter. But
the change that surprised me most was my improved strength and stamina.
I was fortunate to study T'ai Chi again under Dr. Bacher in Miami
in 2001. After having taken private lessons for a month, I integrated
T'ai Chi movements and Yogic postures and offered workshops in
many Yoga schools across the city of Miami.
But my ultimate dream was to learn T'ai Chi directly from the
Grandmaster. This dream became a reality when I made a trip to
Singapore in 2002 and received instructions directly from Grandmaster
Zhu Tiancai, the 19th generation descendant of the Chen family. |
